Some relationships are just meant to be, and Jemma and Daniel Langley prove that. The couple’s incredible love story hit off when their mothers, Janine and Keryn both went into labor the very same day and were placed in beds next to each other, at the William Angliss Hospital in Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Australia, in April 1989.
While they both were waiting to deliver their babies, the two women bonded and introduced their newborns. Quickly, the two children became friends, but when they were nine years old, they lost touch since each family was living in different parts of Victoria.
While that would be it for most of the people, these two met again by a twist of fate, when they were 24 years old in 2013. It started when Jenna stumbled across a hairdressing page on Facebook that belonged to Daniel’s sister, Rhiannon, that she began following her and deciding to track down her old friend.
Jemma and Daniel soon started talking over messenger, and when she booked an appointment to color her hair at his sister’s salon, sparks soon flew. Speaking to Mail Online, Jemma revealed:
I booked an appointment with Rhiannon to have my hair colored. Rhiannon’s salon is set up at Janine’s house which is also where both her and Daniel were living.
So when I was in the middle of my appointment Daniel turned up and popped in to say hello. He went in for a kiss on the cheek but ended up with hair dye on his hat. We both laughed but I think he was a little upset.
Since that encounter, they decided to go out together one night, and have been completely inseparable ever since.
From then we couldn’t get enough of seeing each other. On Mother’s Day in 2014 we officially became a couple.
They got engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2016 at a picnic dinner at the Royal Botanic Garden in Melbourne and got married a year later in April 2017 at Mont Du Soleil in Kallista, Victoria. After first ‘meeting’ in the hospital, now three decades later they are expecting a child themselves. The baby will be welcomed into this world in March next year.

Jemma told Mail Online:
Everyone thinks our story is so crazy, I think we were meant to be together.
Sometimes, it’s just written in the stars.
